the bridgend mill on garnock granted alexander cunninghame, commendator, son james of montgreenan in 1645 , 1674. described being @ west end of bridge, mill lands of milne holme (sic) , strickhirst.


two other mills held abbey, 1 being modern day dalgarven mill, known walkmylne of groatholm on river garnock; site of third mill not known sevenacres mill likely.
