the south street entrance geeumbi marked 2 low concrete walls flanking central driveway, mature hedges extending along front boundary creating distinctive fence line. circular driveway constructed of decorative concrete slabs, , distinguished round garden bed in front of entrance house. circular drive area surrounded tall mature hedges, making entrance house secluded space.


the house constructed of solid concrete 30 centimetres thick. built on 4 levels include ground floor, common room, bedrooms , living areas on second floor, den on third floor , flat roof solid concrete railings containing observatory fourth level. asymmetrical in plan , elevation, , has 2 distinct sections differ in style. front portion of house distinguished imposing octagonal tower , walled open roof , presents appearance of mediterranean villa rendered concrete finish, while rear of house reminiscent of arts & craft style popular @ time steeply pitched complex tiled roof , dormer window among other features. rear section of house incorporates weatherboard cladding. there clear line 2 different design styles meet visible eastern elevation.


the eastern side of house distinguished garden terraces lead down flat, open grassy plain in turn leads bushland. orientation of house towards easterly outlook demonstrated large, enclosed, verandah running along eastern elevation octagonal tower comprises large portion of eastern elevation. domed roof structure visible on tower, once housed telescopic equipment.

internally, house highly intact, retaining many of original design features. front portion of house contains formal entry , formal lounge , dining eastern side , kitchen western side. entry tower gained formal lounge @ southeast corner of house , comprises narrow spiral staircase leading dr price s den. den constructed in mezzanine style , overlooks internal lounge below.
