the church

the commune has 2 religious sites registered historical monuments:

a chapel @ saint mexant (17th century)
the parish church of saint pierre (1875). church first built in 1620 rebuilt in 1868 collapsed in 1870 , rebuilt again 1874 1877. bell tower spire completed in masonry in 1882. church contains number of items registered historical objects:

a bronze bell called marie louise (1807)
an altar , tabernacle (19th century)
