bogoro strategically important town on road between bunia , border uganda, upc military camp in middle of town. attack aimed drive upc bogoro, appeared reprisal operation against hema civilian population . part of plan lendu , ngiti rebels attack predominantly hema villages in preparation assault on bunia.
