starting out...

rockapedia formed in st kilda in 2002. first gig @ st kilda sports club / bowling club. first line consisted of ash flash dawson flash ash , statics , more covers duo of richard goes hard. jack holt, formerly known jock cheese band tism paul coles, keyboards , drums @ original gig , joined line permanently 2004. engine room, dave kegster downing joined line @ same time in 2004. show hosted john mcloughlin . had guest spots on fm radio melbourne, 3triplem in late 1990s , 2000s in breakfast radio. maintains best claim musical fame living in house of legend , gerry humphrys, lead singer of loved ones. employed @ richmond fc in 2000s match day mc club s corporate lunches @ mcg ground announcements, marketing , corporate functions.


early history

rockapedia had first bigger style show 250 guests @ sandringham in 2005. show major success , launching pad show corporate , social fundraising concept. show continued in next few years building , servicing expanding client base. show continued booked clubs, schools, social groups , corporate clients. winner of first rockapedia show charlie owen, known guitarist tex perkins , cruel sea.


recent history

jason palmer joined show in may 2010 acoustic guitar , lead singer. jason added whole range of new options show in covers set. jason palmer continues split time between passion music , film making. in 2010 film, rbg finished in top 10 of tropfest short movie festival.


rockapedia today

rockapedia has included variety of musicians in line on last few years. changes around availability of band members, rather disharmony. in 2013 ash dawson briefly flirted solo career under banner of richard goes hard. name of original covers band played in. idea came him when found old banner in garage during clean up. idea dropped after advice newest band member, greg wildebeest wilson had flirted , funded own production of johnny cash story. planning brought undone announcement of tex perkins show of same name. band returned recording session @ sun studio in memphis. unfortunately recording video of band doing tour of studio did spark media interest in twittersphere late in 2013. current line revolves around core of ash dawson, dave downing, paul coles, jason palmer , jack holt support studio musicians in garth mclardie , greg wilson. current riffs include many of rock classics these legendary line ups:
