anuwat kaewsamrit born apisak rongpichai in nakhon sri thammarat province in south of thailand on november 17, 1981. @ age of 13, went bangkok stay friend, training @ newly formed kaewsamrit camp. @ first, anuwat assistant gym, decided join gym trainee , trained 6 months. after first training period, had first fight @ age of 14 in pattaya.

on october 31, 1998, when 17 years old, had first foreign bout against hinari fukatsu current japanese national champion of snka @ flyweight in japan. knocked down twice in 4th round , knocked down twice in 5th round. referee stopped bout @ second knock down in 5th round.

winning national titles

two years later, after 35 fights, got chance fight first stadium title. on november 18, 1998 anuwat knocked out klangsuan sasiprapa gym in 4th round , won rajadamnern stadium title @ mini flyweight(105 lb, 47.727 kg).

on june 10, 1999 won second title beating kayasit sakmuangklaeng rajadamnern stadium title @ junior flyweight. anuwat’s reputation growing, made name himself fighter had ability come behind snatch victory, way of devastating punches.

on february 2, 2000 anuwat won 3rd title in career, beating prakaipetch kiatpailin take rajadamnern stadium title @ junior bantamweight.

on may 6, 2005, anuwat fought against nopparat keatkamton current champion of lumpinee stadium @ featherweight unify titles. knocked out nopparat right cross in 1st round, , won lumpinee stadium title. bout, became unified champion of rajadamnern stadium , lumpinee stadium @ featherweight. first time in thai history.

on october 29, 2005, anuwat fought against riki onodera japanese national champion @ featherweight in japan retirement bout. knocked down onodera in end of 1st round right elbow strike. in 2nd round, knocked down twice left hook , right low kick, , referee stopped bout when anuwat knocked down onodera @ 3rd time right hook.

winning world titles

in 2005, world boxing council (wbc) established new championships of muay thai , anuwat offered title. fought against singtongnoi por telakun vacant first wbc muay thai title @ featherweight on october 19, 2006. won first world title in career tko in 3rd round.

on august 22, 2008, fought against santipab sit. au. ubon @ lumpinee stadium vacant title of wpmf world featherweight title. won split decision @ 5r.

on march 1, 2009, had defending match against shunta japan wpmf world featherweight title in event of m.i.d japan presents m-1 fairtex muay thai challenge 2009 yod nak suu vol.1 . knocked down left hook in 1st round , referee stopped bout when anuwat knocked down right hook.

on june 26, in montego bay, jamaica, anuwat challenged liam harrison s wmc world lightweight title, , won tko of third round right low kicks.

on july 11, 2010, in ariake, tokyo, had defending bout against shin saenchi gym japan defend wpmf featherweight title. knocked out right cross in 5th round.
