synopsis
the events of adventure set in 580 cy, following 4 years of raids slavers on coastal population along sea of gearnat onnwal wild coast. local lords, tired of situation, hire band of adventurers attack slavers in home. adventure begins in pomarj city of highport @ ruined temple serves headquarters slavers. module takes group through temple , sewers below giant insect-like creatures make lair along slave lords.
as adventurers progress on mission break band of slavers, battle orcs , insects in sewers of slavers conquered city. group reaches prisoners , captors, , finds map showing route of caravans. following map leads group second module, secret of slavers stockade.

synopsis
the previous adventure ends capture of map fortress citadel in hills, used slavers waypoint on route. a2 module gives dungeon master option run overland adventure of 110 miles (177 kilometers) through drachensgrab hills reach fort shown on map, or start adventure party overlooking fort itself. object of module enter fort through stealthy means , eliminate slavers before general alarm can raised.
eventually group of adventurers makes way through fort, avoiding hobgoblin patrols, , reaches dungeon area. after exploring dungeons, players learn fort not headquarters of slave lords. in fact, real stronghold of slave lords located somewhere in drachensgrab hills. revelation leads adventurers third installment in series.

synopsis
the first part of module consists of dangerous labyrinth. portion of adventure meant finished within 3 hours, in tournament mode. trap-filled, monster-heavy section used lure group secret tunnel leading hidden city of suderham.
in second part of adventure, group discovers haven of slave lords, town on island in volcanic crater. new setting, city of suderham, offers players opportunity test roleplaying skills rather focusing on combat or stealth.
the module provides number of non-player characters in city whom players can interact , exchange information. complete module, group must find 1 of several secret entrances catacombs beneath city final part of adventure plays out.
the third section of adventure moves @ rapid pace in tournament mode, , each room encountered in level filled dangerous creatures. in final room of section, players captured set-up in dungeons of slave lords. if section played outside of tournament, however, possible players defeat slavers , exit area victorious.

synopsis
the a3 module finishes player characters captives of slave lords, , begin module a4 in same condition. module starts party trapped, without gear, deep beneath volcanic island. slave lords have captured them, , have left them in dark cave system die when volcanic eruption destroys entire island. through series of incidents find free bereft of equipment , spells.
the final scenario plays out massive earthquake threatens bring down tunnels around group, , must exit caverns within 4 hours or perish in ensuing collapse. labyrinth difficult test characters without equipment , spells, , challenges players wits , role-playing ability rather focusing on traditional combat.
once players emerge caverns, face final test of escaping island itself, can accomplished attacking surviving slave lords, escaping via different boat, or possibly swimming.
