no 1 traveled , membership still depressed civil war. there had been 59 delegates @ march 1860 annual meeting, , 55 @ next annual meeting december (on new baseball calendar), thereby intended play during 1861 season war curtailed. 9 of 59 , eleven of 55 outside greater new york.
