on september 14, 2015, rowe , hanson made japanese debuts pro wrestling noah, teaming takashi sugiura in six-man tag team main event, defeated suzuki-gun (davey boy smith jr., lance archer , minoru suzuki). led match 5 days later, war machine unsuccessfully challenged smith , archer ghc tag team championship.


in november 2016, war machine made debut new japan pro wrestling (njpw) entering 2016 world tag league. finished tournament on december 7 record of 4 wins , 3 losses, failing advance finals.


on april 9, 2017, @ sakura genesis 2017, war machine defeated tencozy (hiroyoshi tenzan , satoshi kojima) win iwgp tag team championship. lost title guerrillas of destiny (tama tonga , tanga loa) on june 11 @ dominion 6.11 in osaka-jo hall, regaining in no disqualification match on july 1 @ g1 special in usa. lost title killer elite squad in three-way match, involving guerrillas of destiny, on september 24 @ destruction in kobe.
