broad gate built in 1932 , occupied lewis s 1932-1996, occupied allders 1996-2005. after closure of allders in 2005, broad gate closed refurbishment. since 2008, half of broad gate building has been transformed offices , other half has remained open public separate retail units occupied retailers including sainsbury s, t.k. maxx, argos , clas ohlson. in 2016 clas ohlson closed , in 2017 unit re-opened home sense.


opposite former odeon cinema crash records, has been fixture of leeds music scene 30 years.
