Religious Heritage Alloue
the church included both parish church , benedictine priory (12th century) founded monks of charroux in 8th century stretched south , west of church. priory of alloue on 1740 plan presented set of buildings surrounded moat joined charente. western part still remains – rebuilt in 16th , 17th centuries. lodgings of prior in line north wall of church, preceded courtyard overlooking street between 2 towers. house has since been built on site of courtyard.

there numerous wayside crosses dating 19th century. 5 of them listed historical monuments:

there cemetery cross (1789) bearing inscription piorry notary et fabric/queur 1789 . stone cross in cylindrical drum raised on plinth consisting of 4 steps. in front, stone font located on stone slab.
