verbs

in west frisian, there 3 groups of verbs: weak, strong , irregular verbs. there 2 types of weak verbs , each conjugated in different way. these -e , -je verbs.


weak -e verbs

if necessary consonant @ end of stem doubled avoid change of pronunciation of preceding syllable.

unvoiced consonant @ end of stem takes unvoiced dental suffix; voiced consonant takes voiced dental.
