the inaugural meeting holiday inn seat cupra championship held @ croft circuit, strong 17 car grid (including 3 female drivers). cars being prepared 1 team make racing more even. stefan hodgetts claimed first ever victory. eventual championship winner rob huff went on win race two. both these drivers battle out fifth , final championship meeting of season @ thruxton along gordon shedden finished second, , gavin smith came in fourth place behind hodgetts. huff s prize full works drive in btcc seat sport uk. prize launched successful career in world of touring cars.
