despite age of design, topper class remains 1 of fastest growing classes in uk, active national association. topper class full isaf international class. on 350 boats attended recent uk nationals , inland championships. every year there world championships - 200 boats competed @ topper worlds in 2011. 1 of classes favorite venues lake garda first time ever competition held in consecutive years in 2006/07.
the 2014 gbr , world championships held in pwllheli, north wales.
the topper class consistently has highest turnouts @ rya zone championships , highest percentage of rya transitional youth squad members. gb young sailor of year nominations in recent years have come within topper class. rya recognise topper class successful pathway class.
