allura (foreground) triggers floor trap, launching pursuer towards ceiling trap
players begin equipping , making traps allura take game mission. each mission starts in specific room, players can position traps in order defeat enemies. traps classified 3 types according can positioned within game world (wall, ceiling, , floor). player allowed take 3 traps of each type game stage, , additional traps can obtained completing game. enemies life bars shown @ top of screen, while allura s life bar , active traps shown @ bottom left , right respectively. player defeats enemies rewarded warl , game s currency, can used purchase new traps between missions. players may purchase room keys, allow allura access other rooms in game missions. apart main story missions, game includes several side stories , optional missions give different angles , insights game s main story. there 3 official endings in game, , fourth not registered when saved onto game file.
apart regular traps, trapt introduces dark illusions , pre-existing traps found throughout mansion. each located in different room , has different effect upon enemy. each dark illusion requires criteria fulfilled before activation , can used once per level.
