racing career
early career

di palma began professional career racing in argentine tc 2000 championship in 1984. after 3 years in series , few notabile results, di palma moved formula car racing in formula 3 sudamericana in 1987. finished 8th in points in rookie season , improved 7th in 1988. placed 9th in 1989.


europe , indy lights

in 1990 di palma moved europe race in formula opel lotus euroseries finished 9th. in 1991 raced in british formula 3000 cobra motorsport , finished 11th. series became british formula 2 in 1991 , di palma finished fourth in points ajs. di palma continued team in british f2 in 1993 , runner-up in championship , captured 2 wins. in 1994 won championship driving madgwick international, again capturing 2 wins. series not held in 1995 di palma competed in 8 races in american indy lights series in 1995 leisy mccormack racing. finished 19th in points best finish of fifth @ toronto. returned indy lights full-time in 1996, time driving tasman motorsports. di palma finished 9th in points best finish of fourth @ belle isle. di palma s tasman teammates tony kanaan , hélio castroneves finished second , seventh in points, respectively.


return south america

in 1997, di palma competed in south american super touring car championship , finished eighth , made 4 starts in turismo carretera. competed in turismo carretera full-time in 1998 , finished seventh. in 1999 in same series finished fourth. di palma continued race in turismo carretera until 2009, finishing fourth in points in 2001, matching career best. di palma competed in dakar rally across south america in 2010 , 2011.
