the pavillon manor (17th century) indicated lordship on 18th century cassini map house has since been altered. house faces church , restored in 19th century. mansion has austere facade has been uniquely decorated internally using french wallpaper manufactured jean zuber between 1834 , 1836. these wallpapers decorated pictures such as: view of north america or helvéthie .
the rioumort bridge (middle ages) medieval bridge deck rebuilt between 1895 , 1898.
the pont-neuf (new bridge) @ western entrance of alloue dates 1741.


the covered lavoir or public laundry



the covered lavoir @ alloue consists of basin surrounded stone slabs.

there old lavoirs @ masmayoux uncovered rectangular basin fed spring emerges cube of masonry , stone rubble , near lasfond has uncovered basin.

religious heritage

the parish church of notre-dame (12th century) registered historical monument. church contains 2 items registered historical objects:



a statue: virgin , child (18th century) in wood painted in polychrome 1.10 metres high
an altar (17th century) in cuir de cordoue of 17th century 1.50m high on base 0.60m high.

the church included both parish church , benedictine priory (12th century) founded monks of charroux in 8th century stretched south , west of church. priory of alloue on 1740 plan presented set of buildings surrounded moat joined charente. western part still remains – rebuilt in 16th , 17th centuries. lodgings of prior in line north wall of church, preceded courtyard overlooking street between 2 towers. house has since been built on site of courtyard.

there cemetery cross (1789) bearing inscription piorry notary et fabric/queur 1789 . stone cross in cylindrical drum raised on plinth consisting of 4 steps. in front, stone font located on stone slab.
